This is a demonstration website. Atelier Rouvière is not a real company: the business, its address, its phone number and its reviews are invented. It exists as a public test fixture for Indexonic.
Atelier Rouvière is a four-person joinery workshop on Feeder Road in Bristol. We have been making fitted furniture since 2009, mostly for people who live in old houses where nothing is square and nothing standard fits.
There is no showroom. Everything we make is made for one room in one house, so there is nothing useful to display. What we do instead is come and look at your space, draw what would work in it, and quote a fixed price for making it.
The workshop is open to visit if you want to see work in progress or look at timber samples — call first so someone is there to let you in.
The people
Four of us: two bench joiners, one machinist and one who does the drawings and answers the phone. Everyone who quotes a job also works on it.
